This month we added two new members to our PR and social media team.
The 60+ staff at our Cardiff office already deliver communications campaigns for clients across the UK, blending PR, advertising, branding, media planning, social media, direct and digital. The two new hires will bolster our growing focus on visual content creation and social media.
Digital Content Executive Emily Gardner, from Swansea, will strengthen our in-house videography capabilities. A Journalism and PR graduate of the University of West England, she also has a year’s experience as a video journalist and TV presenter.
She said: “I am really excited about my new role at Golley Slater which will allow me to build on my existing skills in video journalism and social media, and combine them with my interest in strategic communications.”
Caroline Hodges, a Cardiff University graduate, joins as an Account Executive with two years’ experience working with private sector clients at another Cardiff PR agency. She joins a PR team working for a variety of pan-Wales clients, including Plasdŵr, Cardiff’s 21st Century garden city, St Joseph’s Hospital and the Welsh Government.
Caroline said: “I wanted to join a larger agency and am looking forward to playing my part in fully integrated marketing campaigns as well as developing my PR specialism.”
Annabel Lloyd, joint MD of the PR department said: “2016 was a really busy year for us and 2017 is shaping up to continue steady growth.
“Our focus remains on delivering great client service, strong strategic thinking and creative campaigns that work. That means continually expanding the skillset and creative solutions we can provide – and we’re delighted that Caroline and Emily will be putting their talents into helping us do that.”
