Golley’s week that was #3

Our weekly round-up of what’s been going on at Golley Slater Cardiff.

1. We did some laser cutting at The Fab Lab

Clients and friends of Golley Slater should keep a keen eye on their postbags, as this week we’ve been busy at the Fab Lab at Cardiff Metropolitan University making something special to send out next week. Watch this space!

2. We held a charity Christmas bake-off

We’re big fans of competitive baking in this office, so the idea of a festive-themed bake off to raise money for charity was a no-brainer. Congratulations go to Stephanie for her winning bake – the creatively named ‘Holy Moly Macarooni’ – and to the whole team for raising over £100 for local homeless charity, The Huggard Centre.

Adenya taking her judging responsibilities very, VERY seriously! #bakeoff #xmascake #agencylife

3. We showcased Welsh SME’s in The Telegraph

It was great to see lots of Welsh names in a Telegraph feature about collaborative SMEs, written by local freelancer and Golley friend, Amy Pay. Our clients Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo and Dusty Knuckle Pizza (pictured in the headline) were featured, alongside other local foodies Crafty Devil Brewing, and Charcutier Ltd. You can read the full article here.

4. We partied hard at The Park House

There ain’t no party like a Golley Slater Christmas party! We celebrated in to the small hours after a fabulous Christmas meal at The Park House, rounding off another successful year for our team.
